What a Typical Session Looks Like
Each session follows a predictable structure designed to help participants feel safe, oriented, and confident from the moment they arrive.
Warm-Up & Introduction
Fun icebreakers or music-related games to get students comfortable and engaged. Brief overview of the day's lesson or activity.
Core Learning Activity
Hands-on instruction in DJing, beat-making, podcasting, or radio broadcasting. Individual or group work focused on building specific skills.
Creative Exploration & Practice
Time for students to experiment with tools, practice techniques, and develop their own projects. Encouragement of independent creativity and self-expression.
Collaboration & Feedback
Group activities or peer review sessions to share work and receive constructive feedback. Collaborative discussions on creative ideas and techniques.

Regional Center & Funding Information
Cuts DJ Academy is an approved vendor for the San Diego Regional Center (SDRC), providing inclusive music education and DJ training for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Services may be authorized through IPP or Self-Determination. Our curriculum is tailored to accommodate various learning styles, ensuring every student receives personalized guidance.
